Complementing a beautiful home with a beautiful garden of green and burgundy

To complement an already exquisite and established home, the surrounding external spaces were designed in zones and for specific purposes. An inviting rear entrance to the property was established, into a lush and intriguing landscape of green and burgundy vegetation amongst stone retaining walls. Stepping out from the home’s living spaces, an open verandah area allows for an outdoor kitchen and alfresco dining areas while a semi-circular banquette seated area encourages intimate conversations amongst the leafy environment.

For a layered effect, lighting illuminates the gardens at night and invites the ongoing interaction of the home and its environment. A fun cubby house encourages the children to play and explore the garden.

Enjoying water views, a seating and fire pit area was created to the side of the home to provide a peaceful, tranquil space. With large stepping stones, this area activates the expanse of lawn and connects to the sweeping verandah and interior of the home.
