A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced and talented Architect in our Mosman-based firm.

This firm is looking for a dynamic and creative Architect who shares our passion for high-end residential architecture and interior design. The role offers the opportunity to work in a creative design-focused environment with involvement across all project phases including concept design, planning documentation, construction documentation and construction. As well as the design and documentation work, the successful applicant will be involved directly with clients and consultants and must be able to work both independently and as part of a vibrant fast paced office environment.

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum 5 years work experience in NSW (Australia) working in and demonstrated ability delivering, high-end residential architecture 

• Experience with project documentation across all project phases with a direct focus on residential projects

• Strong conceptual and design skills

• Experience working, and liaising directly, with clients, suppliers and consultants 

• Great attention to detail and accuracy 

• Ability to work on multiple projects 

• Strong time management and organisational skills 

• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills

• Hard working, self-motivated and able to work in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision

• Strong work ethic 

• Sound knowledge of BCA regulations and Australian standards applicable to residential development. 

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate for the role will be an all-rounder with the following experience, skills, and attributes:

• Australian resident

• Masters and/or Bachelors of Architecture from recognised university 

• Minimum five years experience as a design architect in an architectural practice

• Experience with VectorWorks and SketchUp is preferred
