Pushing the boundaries of what is architecturally achievable in a Victorian terrace and injecting relevance and creativity

Marrying the old and the new, the lost character of this Victorian terrace house was restored and integrated into a contemporary, warm and elegant home.

With generous proportions and an increased sense of openness, sweeping district views are captured throughout the reimagined home and a sense of flow and airiness pervades.

Curved interior features and furniture selections subtly connect the home to the sweep of circular garden to the rear. A natural extension of the house, carefully considered plantings of green and burgundy connect the spaces and provide a handsome stepped transition from the house to the rear studio.

“Given the opportunity to be both the architect and the client, Adam’s commitment to this job was exemplary. His attention to detail was unrelenting and it was such a pleasure to see his design come to life.

Following this project, Adam has a greater awareness of the experience of his clients during the construction process and has developed positive working relationships with builders and consultants that he continues to work with.

It is such a privilege to live in a home designed and built with such care and dedication.”
